Day two!

Despite refreshing my inbox every fifteen minutes yesterday, I didn't get an update at the end of the first full day of climbing.  I was relieved and thankful to see an email from John waiting for me when i woke up this morning.  The email read as follows:  "Two hours into our second day.  First day it's clear and we have a great view of Kilimanjaro's peak."


He also sent this picture of the six of them.  It's so great to be able to get updates from them and to actually be able to see pictures of their progress!  If you look at where they are standing in the photo compared to the mountain, you can get a sense of the distance/elevation they still have ahead of them  Kilimanjaro is quite an undertaking!

They are likely done climbing for the day by now, and i am not expecting another update until tomorrow morning.  I will post again when i hear from them!
