Big news!!

Well, it's been several months since we've updated... again.  But we have a good reason!  We found out in November that we are expecting our third (and FINAL!) baby.  We are thrilled to welcome this new little one into our family, but the past three months have been somewhat exhausting for me.  While I've been trying to stay afloat with work and giving the older kids attention, Josh has been amazing with taking care of literally everything around the house.  I am so blessed to have him as my husband!   

Our due date with this new little one is July 30th.  Avery is hoping that the baby holds out for her birthday, but I'm hoping that it decides to come a few weeks early.  I imagine that I will be huge and more than ready to meet the baby by mid-July.  I also would love for the birthdays to be separated by a few weeks!

So far the pregnancy has been progressing normally.  Our appointments with the midwife have been going well, and I can't believe that I'm already nearly halfway done with the pregnancy!  I'm trying to enjoy every bit of this amazing journey... even the not-so-fun-or-glamorous parts.  It is bittersweet knowing that this is my last pregnancy, but I am ready to move on to raising our children rather than adding any others to the family.

We have chosen (so far, anyway...) not to find out whether we are expecting a boy or a girl until delivery.  The time right after Avery and Tate were born were such amazing times to share as a couple... finding out whether we had a son or a daughter, and naming the child together are special memories for both of us.  With that being said, a big part of me wants to know this time... so come ultrasound day we'll see what happens!  Our ultrasound is scheduled for April 1st.  I'm looking forward to seeing the baby again!
