Josh and the kids left this morning to spend the weekend with his family in the Wisconsin Dells. I just got home and I can honestly say that I thought I would enjoy the quiet... but I really miss the noise. I'm excited for their weekend and know that Avery and Josh will have a great time (Tate has fun wherever he is!). I am off to NY to visit my friend Berit for the weekend while my family is away. I've never been to NY and haven't been able to spend much time with Berit for years; I'm sure we'll have a great time! I fly out early tomorrow morning though so I should get started (yes, started :) on packing.
One quick note: I did find a new daycare for Tate. I'm not sure if I've ever gone into much detail on here, but we just weren't thrilled with the care he was getting. We found a great home daycare with eight kids (including Tate) and are really excited about getting him started there. We have chosen to keep Avery at the center for now. She loves it there and always has a great time. It will be difficult having them in two separate places, but we have to do what is best for them. Tate should start his new daycare in a few weeks- we'll keep you all posted!
Tate is also on another nebulizer med for his cough; this cough has been around since Labor day. We are now doing two meds twice a day, so it will add a bit of time to our morning routine. If the combo of meds helps his cough, we'll do it.
